About a month ago, Chasen and I shared our one year anniversary. He surprised me by taking me out to Joshua Tree National Park where we spent the day hiking. He knew that I loved the Native American culture so seeing the history (like the paintings in the cave and the holes in the rock from grinding nuts) was amazing. I must have had a very limited vocabulary that day because during the whole time we were hiking, I could not stop looking at the landscape and saying "oh...gorgeous, just gooorgeous."
I mean, who knew rocks could be so...gorgeous breath-taking?
We ended the night with dinner in Palm springs at Miro's Restaurant, a fantastic place if you want well Mediterranean cuisine. Definitely a wonderful memory I will never forget!
